A look back at Encompass
Since officially becoming the Encompass Insurance Company in the 1990s, we've had several notable events that have helped make us into the proud company we are today. Check out some of our key milestones:
1999-2000
Illinois-based Allstate Insurance Company purchases personal lines insurance business from CNA and introduces the Encompass name.
2000-Present
Our continued commitment to independent agents, customer service and innovative insurance solutions is reflected in our numbers more than ever, with more than 2,400 Encompass Independent Agents in 39 states.
