How to file a claim

Make a claim: Call 1-800-588-7400 to report a loss and we will assign a claim number to track your claim.

Talk with a team member: A claims team member will follow up to answer your questions and determine the best way to handle your loss.

Determine damages: An adjuster will evaluate the damages and prepare an estimate.

Review your estimate: A claims team member will discuss the damage estimate and settlement with you, based on your policy provisions, terms and coverage.

Wrap up your claim: Encompass will provide you the appropriate documents, payment, and address any questions you may have.
